Our birthday

Dilan is a handmade pottery studio established in 2020. The brand is dedicated to producing high-quality ceramic tableware, with a focus on clean and minimalist design. Every Dilan piece is shaped with a profound appreciation for earth, water, and fire, reflecting a unique artistic identity through simple yet elegant creations.

Founder of Dilan

Maedeh Kashmiri, a licensed attorney, is the founder of Dilan. After several years of practicing law, she chose to change her career path and return to her childhood passion—the art of pottery. As Maedeh explains, her primary motivation for this life-changing decision was: “Since we only live once, I wanted to do something that truly brings me joy.” This deep personal commitment and love for ceramics became the foundation on which Dilan was built.

One year later

We started our work in a small pottery workshop, where the pottery wheel turned with a slow rhythm and each piece was shaped with care and love.
As time passed and our audience grew, we expanded our approach—from traditional pottery wheel to advanced porcelain casting—but we never lost the spirit of being handmade.

Establishing quality and brand identity

In 2023, our focus was on solidifying the foundations of the Dylan Ceram brand.
This year, by expanding the workshop, upgrading the baking equipment, and using higher-quality raw materials, we were able to achieve greater stability in the production of works.
At the same time, Dylan's visual identity and design style took on a clearer shape—simplicity in form, depth in detail, and originality in color.
With the introduction of the Teatime Collection, our presence among ceramic art enthusiasts expanded and we gained loyal customers who valued the authenticity and handmade nature of our products.

Developing collections and entering a wider market

In 2024, our path changed from an art workshop to a more recognized brand.
Production of new collections such as tea sets, decorative vases, and cafe dishes began.
Collaborating with several art stores and interior design brands across Iran helped us bring Dylan's work to more spaces — from intimate homes to coffee shops and galleries.

This year, Dilan Ceram's online store was also officially launched so that customers can purchase handmade products directly from the artists' workshops.

Expanding beyond borders and teaching art

The year 2025 is the year of expanding new horizons.
This year, while maintaining its handmade spirit and limited production, Dilan Ceram entered the global market — by sending orders to several European countries and participating in international handicraft fairs.

In the same year, Dilan ceram Workshop It was opened; a place to teach pottery and glazing techniques to young students who want to begin their path in the world of ceramics.
Our goal with this step was to transfer experience and promote a humane and artistic approach to production.

Sample of our products

Dilan’s first product line consisted of handmade cups. These cups were shaped with great precision using a potter’s wheel. The simple and functional designs of these cups reflect the brand’s focus on quality construction and ease of use. Each handmade piece by Dylan is the result of the effort and creativity that goes into its workshop.

Dilan's Team

Today, the Dilan team consists of ten direct workers in the main workshop and at least ten other indirect workers working with us in various production departments. All team members, with their passion and expertise, work together to produce high-quality and unique Dilan products. The spirit of cooperation and creativity is one of the main pillars of our team's daily activities.
